Lindum College Counselling Courses

Our counselling courses contain elements of work with adults, children and young people, much of the counselling work can be adapted and used across age groups
Part one
is an entry level certificate (level 2) and comprises 45 classroom hours. Once successfully completed the student will have a basic understanding of the counselling process and a clearer idea of whether this is the right path to take. T
Part two
Is a level 3 advanced certificate in counselling skills and theory and comprises 100 classroom hours
Part three
is a level 4 and 5 combined Advanced Diploma qualification and comprises 120 classroom hours. During this course you will be assessed for working in the required placement and once successful will receive a level 3 certificate. The course content will provide the student with the tools and knowledge base to become a qualified counsellor with an option for either working with adults, children and young people or CBT diplomas

Once enrolled on the level 4 part of the diploma course you will eligible to apply for student membership of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Once qualified you will be eligible to apply to convert your student membership into full membership
